Hi Everyone,
Since JeffVN brought up the Rose card which went from Superior's auction to Ebay. Here is another one of more substance. This seller is a really great guy and wants little profit off his investment. For many sellers it is a great way to pickup a couple of bucks. God knows you can't make any money in the stock market and I think banks are now paying 2% interest (at least here in New York they are). Anyway, I do not think it is a bad thing because after all, the buyer (Ebay seller) is laying out all of the money because he is buying the card first. Anyway, here are the 2 links.
Mile High Auction (Total Paid with the 15%) $9949.80 + Shipping Charges
Current Ebay Auction ($10,500.00 reserve) ($15000.00 SMR)
As per SMR, his reserve is only 66% of book which is a great deal for this card. I do not know how this guy does it because after Ebay fees (which is about 2-2.5%), he nets a low margin, but I guess it is a flip of cash. By the way, I'm the current high bidder. I found out the reserve afterwards. I figured I would get a really great deal, but he is a smart seller.
