Toned Morgan - opinions wanted.

This Morgan has been in my coinbox for some time, and the toning is uneven on the obverse, and beautiful on the reverse. The reverse is rimmed in light blue, but the camera refuses to pick up the color correctly. The obverse is pale green with tan. Does the toning appear original, and any thoughts on why both sides are toned differently?

  • I think it looks pretty original, maybe stored in an envelope. rev. is stunning, to bad about the uneven toning on the obv. even so it is still a very cool coin.

Yea, without the disturbances in the toning, I would find that very attractive, and I am not a big Rainbow Morgan freak.
