U.S. Proof Sets and Mint Sets book and QVC

In another thread some of us are talking about original mint sets. The book, U.S. Proof Sets and Mint Sets was mentioned and a link to the book was provided. I thought the book looked interesting, but I had never heard of the senior author, Bill Gale. So I was nosing around the web site and found this picture of Mr. Gale. He looked familar, and so I looked at a few more pages to find Mr. Gale's schedule ... on QVC. Now, I have read plenty of threads knocking the various home shopping networks and the coins they sell. So, let me ask: Does the fact that Mr. Gale is QVC's coin dealer affect your desire for this book?

Not at all. Actually Mr gale Seems to try to sell better grade coins then most of the other rob you at home channels. Not always but most of the time.

It seems highly improbable that Mr. Gale was able to contribute much to this book
other than market information. No doubt the coauthor wrote most everything else.
Frankly I am interested in what Bill Gale would have to say about the market for
    the proof and mint sets.

    Tempus fugit.
