Hey check this out and tell me if you can see the tone on this im working on trying to get it figure

1950D unc nice russet color on the Liberty and the date and into the hair there is streeking red orange with hints of blue starting to show. The first shot is at an angle, and looks to show the best over all color . The second is straight on and looks a little washed out.

    Nope sorry I don't see it. Keep working at it. It took me a good while before I was able to photograph toned coins to my satisfaction. Have you perused some of the earlier threads dealing with how others set up their personal photography studios? There are lots of little gems of knowledge tucked away in those threads. Try to apply/modify some of them to suit your specific needs. Those threads were a major source of information for me.
