Got a 64 proof set

Got my first 64 "sealed" proof set. No cameos or A.H. But all the coins are probably 66,67,68. The nickel has a slightly gold toned obverse. The rest have no toning. But for 13 bucks I am pretty pleased. I intend on collecting a few mint proof sets that are the first and last year mintages of a particular coin. Frankies,JFKs, and Ikes. I do not intend on slabbing them unless I come across a toned monster or a high grade variety. I really like having the coins in the originial mint packaging. These will go along with all my State Quarters.

Good deal. I have a run of Proof Sets from 1955 to date. My '55 set is a box set and I also have 3 proof coins from 1942.

  • Coinrookie and I split the guys 1964 sets. I haven't gotten mine yet, but I'll post here when it comes in.

I decided to collect a run of proof sets from my birth year to the present since I haven't seen any IHC's or Buffs that have caught my eye lately.
