2001 Playoff Honors Honor Roll BuyBacks

These are the non-autograph BuyBacks out of the retail 2001 Playoff Honors. I started to search for these after a friend of mine traded me one he had, it was a 1997 Leather Quad Gold Redemption John Elway card. Back in 1997 there was a gold redemption card inserted at a rate of 1:28,800 packs that could be redeemed for the entire Gold Quad set.

After that I knew they had to be rare so I started seaching for them and have been able to find quite a few. The only problem I had was there was no list for them from Playoff or Beckett. Many unanswered emails from Beckett (actually more proof they don't track stuff because they still have no list for them) and many emails to Playoff finally paid off, Playoff said they would release a list with print runs.

Is there something on every card that would set it apart from the non-buyback version?

Each card should have a gold foil logo on them but some the foil did not stick so it is just embossed. That's the way to tell the difference.
