Precious metals weights are always given in "troy" measurements and I would assume by the sellers description that this piece is silver. I don't buy on ebay, is the seller obligated to sell at a loss?
Wow, someone got a nice deal, should have gotten $60 for that -> just goes to show how category placement is so important.
Don't feel bad for the seller though, they recently sold a 1955/55 PCGS AU58 for $1050 - I am guessing it is not the good 1955/1955 but sold for at that price.
I was going to bid on it but you didn't think it was silver so i didn't bid on it. Oh well i'll get the next one.
Yes, he has to sell for that amount. I bought a 1/10 oz peice of platinum for less than $40. If you don't list what the coin is made out of chances are your not going to get the rice you want.

It's not marked .999 or whatever silver anywhere on the item.
