Do you think the rise in gold will push PR69DC Modern $5 commems over the $100 mark?

I was able to get $99 for a 1992 Columbus, but couldn't find any buyers on my others so I relisted them.

  • Those earlier commems were minted in such huge quantities that it's hard to sell them at anything approaching a decent price. That being said, I think that they should probably all be valued around $125 and are a long-term bargain under $100.

At $340/oz, the $5 commems have $82 of gold in them, melt. I know I've purchased them in the past for less than that, so I gotta think it's a good time to sell them. Who knows, they may even reach their original issue price image .
