    Rick is going to make an excellent addition to an already good team. I think he's probably happy that he'll be able to focus on coin related issues instead of being knee deep in political and corporate damage control.

    It's gonna work out fine for both companies: NGC picks up a respected grader and numismatic personality and PCGS got the slap in the face it needed to begin to address customer service issues.

    Lincolnsense - Pure conjecture! I've been in similar business type situations where there is growing doubt from the customer base as to the service, business practices, and continued viability of the company I was working for. Most working for the company were so focused on damage control and political infighting that I couldn't take it anymore and left. My job, which I loved, wasn't any fun anymore. I guess after reading so many of the "sky is falling" posts here on the forums, I related my past experience, to perhaps what was happening at PCGS.
