What years (besides the silver ) should I look for for d/d's and such.

    `64 D DDs are known to exist.Also `74 D DDO seen on the motto.Good luck.

    A whole boatload? Wow! Was it a little dingy load, or a cruise ship load? Or perhaps something in between, like a tugboat load? image

    I've wondered this myself. Usually, if your just looking for silver, most just flip them all on their sides in their hands and pull the silver out. I'll also run them over quick with my eye to look for anything I might catch, but I've always wondered if there's other interesting things to look for more closely.
