1936-D/D/D Buffalo?

Last year I bought a 1936-D Buffalo 5 cent in an ANACS MS65 holder. Well I cracked it out and sent it in to ANACS and it came back as an MS64 D/D/D FS-019.8. The coin is a beauty. The cherrypickers guide does not have a value at any grade. Does anyone have a value? Where did you get it? I am also including a scan of the coin. Thanks.

  • I was told $25-$30 in MS63 when I found my copy of RPM#4. I think it was Eric Aextell that gave me the value, but I'm not sure where he got it from.

Thats lower than a normal MS63 for that date!

  • Hmmm... well that was 2-3 years ago. I didn't take inflation or certification into account. I was finding BU 38Ds for $20 or under then, not just off of eBay. I haven't bought any for a while, but it doesn't look like they have went up that much.
This guy has a couple supposed RPMs with a Bin of $24, although there is no guarantee on what you're getting...

I know the number of RPM collectors is small. The Cherrypickers guide has added new collectors but there are so many that most people don't know about them. I have not sen one of these at auction. Doesn't mean that they are very rare but may not have too much of an interest. What do you all think?
