thumped over ???

Looked at Ogden's submission in another post....scrolled down and saw a descriptor for altered surfaces...thumped over...smacking it with a pasty substance. Anybody know what this does/looks like ??

That's what threw me...the phrase wasn't "thumbing", it was "thumping"...htting the coin with a pasty substance. I have this image of some guy somewhere smacking Morgans with a hunk of bread dough...
