1-Dan Marino #/100
2- Joe Montana #/100
3- Troy Aikman #/100
4- Barry Sanders #/100
5- Karim Abdul-Jabbar #/100
6- Eddie Goerge #/100

Here is a scan of 1 of the cards, this 1 I have, I know it says 1/25 that's what makes this one nice it is an error!

I have some very nice trade or will buy them out right.

    its not an error, its obviously a fake...i was waching that card on ebay, but chose not to bid on it, i guess you were the winner of it...sucks cause its either fake autod and fake numbered, or just fake numbered...either way, its junk.

    SPx has a wierd type of foil. The sharpie can be removed. I saw a fake marino #13/100 got over $250.

    There are some SAGE autos that you can scratch the sharpie off with your fingernail. One of my friends scratched off some no name players sig and then signed it TMac. lmao

    or you can just use rubbing alcohol, that stuff takes pen or sharpie off most surfaces, esp cards that have that thick, shiny surface...its extremely easy to do.

    It is not a fake nor is it junk!

    Nice way to welcome the new guy by calling his cards JUNK!

    Here is the back of the card and you can't fake that!

    I went over this card with my 20x loupa and the card has not been changed. It would show some kind of rub mark from anything that was used!

    it doesnt matter how many times you went over it with any kind of magnifying glass, rubbing alcohol completely breaks down sharpie pen, and it just rubs right away...it IS fake, its not an error, nobody at UD just decided to mis-number a card 1/25 when they were all numbered out od 100, and because its fake it IS junk.

    lol man, dont get so offended, its nothing against you, its just that i was going to bid on that very card on ebay but passed it up, and your card that you bought is fake numbered and you refuse to admit it, thats all...image

    you dont have to send it to UD, lol...just call them and tell them what you have, and theyll tell you its fake, i guarantee it

    also, i was going to bid on it cause it looked like a sweet card, until i checked out beckett and saw they were numbered out of 100, not 25, and realized that it was a FAKE!

    Also notice where the Marino is #ed, then look at the Sanders... Not sure but with many sets that are hand-numbered they have them in the same location. My $0.02...

    I thought the same thing when I saw it, but then I looked at a Troy Aikman and it was #ed and signed near the top!

    Just in case it was not real (which I think it is) I just got another Barry Sanders and it is #ed in the same place and signed with the same pen and the 2 is the same handwriting.

    I know people say that the ink will come off easy with some removers, but the card would show some ink left from were it was or show some kind of rub or scrach mark were it was rubbed off.

    The cards scrach very easy.

    I will find out what UD says when they get the card and see for them selves.

    Some that was numbering them could have made the mistake of thinking they were #ed to 25 then said oops, and since there not just going to throw the card away they let it get packed.

    We are just human and the guy that #ed it was not going to tell his boss he just messed up a card and it slipped into a pack, I mean think about it!

    There are errors made on cards all the time, why when I have it people say it's fake or even worse, Junk?

    About two years ago at the Frank & Sons show in SoCal, I saw people selling Upper Deck auto cards that were not signed or numbered. They must have been the extras that Upper Deck printed to proof the card. The F&S show is notorious for the "back door" Upper Deck stuff.

    I'm not saying his card is fake, but it is possible to fake the card. That is why I only buy machine serial numbered or stamped auto cards.

    I heard about the Back Door cards but none of the 1997 SPX were in with the Back Door cards!

    Hey I have been collecting for a long time now and I try and look at every thing on a card before I buy it, that is why I had this guy send me close up pictures of both sides of the card before I bought it!

    BGS uses a 10x glass to look at these cards, I use a 20x and there is no evidence that would lead me to beleave that the card is fake!

    Again not saying that it is not, just saying that it does not show it.

    I have a 2000 CE Auto of Pennington Supposed to be numbered to 1510... Mine is numbered to 510?? I hope that its not a fake auto? Any thoughts Silverimage?? Mistakes do happen. Welcome to the boardimage

    You guys can all go home early, because I did the sleuth work for you. The card is unequivocably a fake, and Blackbird, you can expect UD to call and offer some kind of replacements if you send them that card. I've seen 5 different cases of these being wiped clean, and renumbered, and I've seen them from 1/1 to the 1/25 that you have. Basically, the card has been altered, and thus is ruined. Your options are to keep it and pawn it off on some other sucker or take your chances with UD and see what they send you back. Funny though, hadn't seen the fake spx autos selling for a while, thought the word was pretty much out in the hobby.

    Nope, not with a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol...

    lol no...sorry

    its 99.9% probable that somewhere along the line, the owner of that card took the ink off, and wrote his own number in...i know that its your card, and you paid a lot of money for it, and youd like to believe that its all good, but in actuality, its fake.
