Anybody here win any of Nick's DCAM Franklins?

So, did anyone here win any of Nick's DCAM Franklins this morning? There were some nice bargains won.

Nick's Tough Date

A bargain here:

1957 DCAM

A tough date:

1958

Really cheap!

1956

A REAL bargain:

1961

I wonder if he still has his 1971 PCGS PR-69 DCAM Kennedy I watched him buy on Ebay?

He didn't buy it on eBay. He sold it on eBay - to Alltel on 07.07.02 for $3627.00.

I was aced out at every turn! Was the underbidder on a couple...including the '53. Oh well, guess that leaves me more money to spend in Orlando! Congrats to all who got some of the nice coins!

  • Russ- You shouldn't attempt to state as fact information about which you just don't know. I WATCHED Nick buy a PCGS 1971 PR-69 DCAM Kennedy on Ebay. Things do happen on Ebay that you don't know about. You have been registered with Ebay for only two and half years. Guess what? They've been selling coins there for a lot longer than that.

    dcam,

You're full of crap. Nick did not buy the coin on eBay. BTW, I've actually been registered on eBay since Sept. 1997. My account got fubared and had to be setup again.

When did you register on eBay? Oh yeah, that's right, you're still hiding that.

I got the 1963 out in the cheap seats

Now that they're over, I sure would have paid an extra $5 for that 1961

    Relayer,

I actually had that one on my watch list. When I headed home last night it was at only $51. Thought I might be able to scoop up a bargain this morning.

  • Russ- Sorry, you are wrong. Nick DID buy a 1971 PCGS PR-69 DCAM Kennedy on Ebay. He and another bidder sniped the auction in the last few seconds and the bid went from around $2,400 to around $3,300 in the last few seconds. I was WATCHING the auction and evidently you weren't. Period. Heck, I sold him his '76 Silver PR-69 DCAM. I watched a lot of his bidding.

    Russ-

I put one bid in at $195 and owned it all week at a cheap price but it was too good to last.

At the prices they all went for I wish he listed a 1959.

Really? According to Nick, he bought the aforementioned coin from Vinnie with Numismatic Consultants out of Hilton Head, SC. He did not buy it on eBay as claimed. Feel free to eMail him and ask him.

    Edited for tone.

I bought the lower half of the business strike franklins last week. Whould have had the whole set, but he ended them too close together and I got sniped.
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!
