Another pop 1/0 Liberty Nickel

Well, it seems that Heritage has the 1901 Rev of '02 MS 67 (PCGS) Liberty Nickel in their FUN auction. I wonder what this will bring. The last time I mentioned a rare coin, I got little response. This one is ever rarer (well not like post '32 coins, but you know). I do have access to the pop 4/0 MS66 1912 too.

Although this series is not popular like the current bullion coins I always read about on the US forum, it is still fun to collect.

It will probably sell for less than the 49D Washington in NGC68image. I was thinking about bidding it. I wonder if Mitch will be bidding against?

Well, it will not be me. There is also the pop 1/0 1909 PR66DCAM in this sale. Since he was the "man" on the 1888 in the last sale, you would have to wonder. I will just watch and post the results in my ever expanding list of prices realized.

There are a couple nice nickels at FUN, as is to be expected image

I really can't comment on coins I plan to bid on at the various sales until after the sale. But, no doubt, there will be a great deal to talk about after those auctions!!

Keep up the good work with your Liberty Nickel society and the research connected with it image Wondercoin.

  • I like all nickels. I would like to see the '09 in DCAM!!! One of the few coins I regret selling was a '11 in 66 Cam... Don't worry I won't be bidding on any MS Liberty Nickels image
