Green Bay Packers...undefeated one year?

In 1929 the Green Bay Packers went 12-0-1 one season. They lost in the playoffs to the Memphis Tigers though. The Packers gave up only 20 points (not including the Memphis game) that whole season. I just heard this on the radio. Should this be considered as good as the Dolphins or not as good because they lost in the playoffs?

  • Nah, because the Dolphins won it all and didn't tie during the season.

But they were saying "Ohhhh...the Dolphins were undefeated." I don't see a number higher than zero in that loss colum of the Packers...

  • Use your head. The Packers lost one, and tied one. The Dolphins won every game they played. Pretty much a no-brainer.
