    From da rules:

"You should retire a set from Current status when you have sold or broken up your set. If your set was at least 90% complete at the time of deletion, it will remain in the All Time Finest category and will be listed with a "viewable" status. If you still own the coins in a retired set that was 90% complete at the time of retirement and the set remains in the All Time Finest category, those same certification numbers cannot be re-used by you in a new set you may start in the same category. Should you wish to re-use those coins, please contact customer service first to delete the All Time Finest set from the registry. "

I had this happen and my set was never close to 90% complete, but it was fixed after I complained (they have to do it manually, so sets like this are only removed once a week at most).

They don't always fix the problems. I inadvertantly failed to switch a coin out of a set that I deleted. I emailed them 2 days after I did it, and they still won't fix it. Their solution: delete the set completely from the current finest list and put it in the all-time list. That's one heack of a tough pill to swallow when you have the #1 set and #2 sets in the same series for a mistake.
