Have a little patience on Superior auction cards.

I have seen a number of posts of people upset that they paid for their cards 4 or 5 days ago and have not yet received them. That hardly seems like a long time to me, and also, it may not all be up to Superior.

I paid for my card Monday also. I received it today. It was shipped on Wednesday by Fed Ex 2 day, with priority Saturday delivery. Still I only received it today. I guess that Fed Ex and other carriers are very busy this time of year. I certainly can't complain about CU geting the card out within 48 hours.

So be parient guys. Your cards will come. I expect many of you will get them today.

  • My irritation is not based on delivery time, but on the fact that when I tried to enter my cards into my set registry set they show up as still being part of the seller's set registry set. I hope that this is merely a glitch in the system (as we speak Gayle is looking into it for me), not a seller that has not yet deleted the cards from his 1967 set. Either way, its dissapointing to get the cards and then not be able to enter them into my set.

    JeffVN,

You have pretty good odds of your 1967's coming from Joel's set. Since it's still listed in the "Current", you will probably have to wait until Joel deletes the entire set.

BTW - I have that happen all the time with the 1954's that I have sold from my trading set. I get the serial mismatched from my primary set and have to clean up the mess. I must drive Gayle and BJ crazy.

    Alan,

The Set Registry has also had a glitch in the past - where cards removed from a set still show up as being listed when you try to enter them in another. Not sure whether its been fixed or not, but I know that when Dave Jacobs and Mike Ledin bought 1972 PSA 8's from me, that they came up as "still registered" in my set. But, when you looked at my set, the cards in question were all PSA 9's and 10's and not the PSA 8's that they were trying to enter.

A simple email to BJ or Gayle has always been enough to get the situation corrected.

I received my cards today. I paid last Monday, so it was exactly 7 calender days.

Paid 12/9 AM, still no cards. Lot of over 20 cards, spent over 2K. Disappointed doesn't begin to express my sentiments. image

  • Any luck yet on your cards from Superior? Mine showed up quickly, but I paid with a credit card the next morning.

Paid for mine the next day after the auction. Got them three days later. Superior is awesome.

  • My card came yesterday - I think I MAILED my CC info maybe 7-10 days ago (had to send in resale cert too - darn PA residence w/Spence).
Why do I get the feeling, that some cards are worth money, while others are not?
