WOW! A True Statement From The Coin Vault

Well, there is a first time for everything.

I working a little late, and I've seen the EXPN highlights of my Tampa Bay Buccaneers winning today more than a few times. So, I switch on the Coin Vault and am watching them hawk overpriced proof sets from the 40's and 50's.

They offered a few from the thrities ($7,995.00 in case you wanted to ruch out and pick one up), a couple of forties and all of the early fifties in Capital Holders.

Now here is the ture statement:

"We have gone out and assembled these sets from sets of proof coins. None of these comprise a single original set. In order to give our buyers the very best, we have cherry-picked the very best coins."

What they didn't say was they cherry picked the best coins, sent them to NGC and are selling them for God only knows how much, and then put all of the lower grade coins in these holders are are peddling them to unknowing novices at 75% over bid for the sets.

You can pick up a nice $480.00 1950 proof set for $799.95! image
