coppercoin take a look at what I bought

Is this common?
"broken date"

It was a fun show bought a couple of coins. I wish I has $2500.00 with me. There was a barber half in NGC 65 to die for. I don't think many of us have seen a prooflike Barber, and by prooflike I mean black and white regular strike. To give you an idea It was 3/4 of the way between PL and DMPL on Morgan scale.
I remember someone was looking at chain cent... There was one with periods in PCGS 15 holder for 6900.00, so I guess out of price range.
I also bought some modern coins from 1960s cam and dcam to be shipped to PCGS for ebay selling.
I think I paid a record price and a risky investment for a SMS set. For those wandering it's not a original set.

Unfortunately the only thing that can cause something like that is coin damage.

Ok.I,m scratching my head on the broken 9 `25 D there.Could it have been damaged just as it left the coining chamber or by another coin falling onto it in the pile below? There seems to be a hint of where the 9 was broken from.See the ghost 9?Sure you can and it aint even Halloween.
The SMS looks interesting. The Half looks DCam,25c looks Cam easily, but the others....maybe a light Cam on the 5c?The color may be subjective. Not sure what to make of it.Doesnt look bad so it may look great in person.Good luck.
