That's a good question and one that is hard to answer. To the GSA collector, an as-yet-to-be-discovered date/mintmark will command a tremendous premium. A circulated 1893-O recently brought something like $900 on ebay after very spirited bidding.
The premium a collector is willing to pay for any coin - depends entirely on the collector. If it is a coin that he/she needs to complete a set - it may be substantial. If it is just another duplicate already in the collection - it may be zero. There is no hard and fast answer - wish there was - it would sure make things a lot easier.
