Coin Burn OUT

Anybody besides me get coin burn out? I get it at least 3 or 4 times a year. Lasts for up to a month. Then I am drawn back to the coins like a moth to a flame.
With so many interests, and so much to do, it is easy for me to loose focus after an intense 3 or 4 months with coins. I find I need to back off for a while.

What concerns me are those many new collectors who catch fire and then burn out for good after one or two negative experiences. It seems one of the toughest things for the new collector to do is slow down and carefully consider what they are doing.
In my opinion it seems you are taking a very positive approach. When the hobby stops being fun don't quit just cool it for awhile.

I hate it when you see my post before I can edit the spelling.

Yes, it happens to me sometimes also. Maybe the ole brain can only absorb so much at one time and then needs to rest. mdwoods

Hey!!! That reminds me of when Snoopy used to pretend to be a vulture, sitting on his dog house!

but my WIFE suffers from (SCB) Spousal Coin Burnout on a daily basis. I been trying to treat her regularly, but so far the only thing I found that works is a healthy dose of an expensive Raymond Weil diamond and gold watch for XMas. That seems to have bought me, ummm, I mean her, some relief of symptoms.
