Worst Set Fun

I'm sure this topic has been addressed before, but if we put monetary gain aside for a moment and simply consider the enjoyment that can be gained from collecting, wouldn't it be a kick to register the worst possible set one could find in PCGS holders?
I'm not suggesting something easy to do. Some creativity is required. For example, have you ever seen a 1950-D nickel in a MS-64 PCGS holder? According to the PCGS population report I've referenced, there are a few out there. What could this coin be worth? Simply for the fun of it, wouldn't it be neat to own and even more fun to try to find one of these 1950-D's? To offer another example, have you ever seen a 1948 half dollar in a PC MS-62 holder? Because I enjoy the hobby and have fun being involved I'd probably be willing to pay double "Bid" to obtain such a coin.
Then we can get serious and talk about building the "perfect set" of EF Seated Dollars.
Not all of us can afford to own the best. We all can have fun as part of the Set Registry program.

Also, I know of a collector who is trying to build a PCGS short set of lincoln cents in 64RD. If you stop and think about it... they're bound to be nice coins for the grade.

will come along and intentionally slab w o r s e yet. You gotta go for Poor 1.
I sold the worlds w o rs t 1804 cent a couple years ago. You may not have wanted it since
in addition to the design being virtually gone except for the date which was very w e a k,
it also had very old and new damage.
Thought Braddick might be eating d i n n e r.
Sure it is easy to get a lower set than Braddick, if you register only one coin. But if your set is as complete has his it will be very hard to get a lower average grade...

P.S.:
It would be a hoot to see photos on those two sets.
