1901 PCGS MS63 Barber Dime

Ebay Link

Ok, I want honost opinions. I won this back on the 1st of December. Don't laugh, but being only 22...this is one of my first high dollar coin purchases. I think I did alright and to me the coin looks great. I want some honost opinoins...Did I pay too much, too little...is the coin not worth it...anyone see something I don't...did I get a good deal...nice coin? Anything. I'd like to hear before my next large purchase. image Thanks!

And personally, I think I did alright. I might have overpaid a tiny bit, but thats what I get for mixing ebay and budlight image Hehe image

Looks good to me. Did you get the coin yet? How does it look in person?

Well first of all, would you please quit buying Barber material. You're driving up my costs! image

Seriously though, it does look like a solid 63. A nice dime. Too bad that "gotnoys" dude kept bidding. He/she drove it up a little higher than I would have paid. But if you like it, that's all that matters.

Next time snipe it near the end, and save yourself $20.

nice coin Jake! I don't think you paid too much at all. I sold several common date barber dimes earlier this year and the nice white coins such as yours seem to bring more money. mikeimage

Other than it being not original because it has been dipped and is turning brown on the peripherals I guess it's ok.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

    I agree with dave,

nice solid 3 with nice clean look.

Probably retail on the bid, especailly for a com date, but If you like it, then forget the price.
Good eye-appeal coins will always bring the premiums.

An excellent coin. I believe it to be original , the scan is poor.

  • Just snagged a Barber dime myself. can't be sure from the distant scan but the price is right and I've found ANACS isn't usually too far off if at all.

  • Cypher I like the coin, U like the coin, so great deal. Barbers are gorgeous coins, I have tons but mine are no where as nice as the one you showed us.
