Anyone know wrcc@coinbuyers.com?

He has a LOT of registry quality (and way overpriced) Lincolns on eBay right now, including a 12S, 14S, and 15D in 65RD, a 09S and 17P in 66RD, and a bunch of matte proof Lincolns. Just wondering if he was maybe one of the top set owners who decided to unload...

That is Washington Rare Coin Center. You can see their website here:

    WRCC

They deal in lots of Lincolns. They periodically have full page CW ads.

Overpriced is right! Though Washington is ALWAyS overpriced.

They always have many high-grade Lincolns on their site, but their prices have always looked prohibitive to me.

Lincolns are hot! But those prices are crazy.

I bought one coin from them... way over priced, but I liked it. Sometimes, you just get the wants.

  • I have bought from them a few times. I generally got a good coin and their return policy always worked - - but I have never bought anything cheap from them. As a matter of fact I have never bought anything at a "reasonable price" from them.

  • His MS66RD 1909-s/s is well priced at the $2400 - $2750 if the coin is nice. I sold mine for over $3300.

I've seen their ads in Coin World for years, and always wondered how they could stay in business. I guess at those prices, they only need to sell a few coins to be profitable. I can't imagine that their sales volume is very great. If they have a retail store, it's probably more like a museum, with coins remaining in inventory for long periods of time.

  • MastaHanky....don't want to change the subject but I like your icon. Saw them do the whole album at the CowPalace in 1975.

    Enjoy your coins..
