ESPN should keep showing these HS games between top teams in the nation, better than NBA bkb

I really liked to watch this HS game tonight. You dont have the refs stopping play every other second cause of a little touch, they actually let these kids go at it. Its fast paced, its exciting. Sure there are a few instances where you say what the heck was that, but overall this was a great game to watch, and its a short game too, which is a plus. They should keep showing these games between the top 25 HS teams in the nation, these are great bkb games

  • March Madness and the Western Conf. Finals is the only basketball worth watching these days.

I get to watch Oak Hill Academy play a lot. I have played pick up games with most of them. They had a scrimage with Fork Union Militay Academy in our gym, two of the top teams in the nation playing and there was only about 50 people there. J.J. Redick that starts for Duke also played high school ball around this area, played against him a few times too.
  • If it weren't for LeBron James in that game, I don't think we'd be having this conversation right now...

  • Well tgrey, he is the best prep player EVER. But thats no reason to watch him. What do you go to college for? A better job? Yup. Skip it. Make 15 mil over a shoe contract and get drafted #1.

  • I have no idea what you're talking about from my reply to this. I'm simply saying if LeBron were not playing in that High School game hardly anyone would care to watch it, and ESPN especially would not air it. I never said anything about LeBron going to college, I think he should go pro too... where you get these crazy ideas that you think I'm saying I do not know.

  • It wasnt just him playing. Sure he was the star, but guys in the top 25 teams have many of the stars that are gonna go to college. These schools make it their mission to go out and find players from wherever cause thats what the school specializes in. Even if LeBron isnt in there, there is still lots of talent around in those teams cause they are build up like a pre-college team. Like I said, the games are fast, quick, exciting, refs dont blow the whistle every second, great game to watch
