Looks lackluster, with a weak strike.

Whaddya say there Steve? MS/63? Looks about there. Can't tell the luster though. If the coin only graded ms/61, he'll do ok. The coin looks ok.
    Different, that's for sure.

One of the forum members here, I believe it was jtryka, did this a while back with a couple PCGS slabs.

  • A sure-fire method of selling your coin for too little money! image

Probably another seller fed up with the inconsistency of the PCGS grade.
  • I don't know Peace dollars too well, but looks pretty close to the 63 I have...

Looks AU58. The fact that the seller capitalized "uncirculated coin" makes me think it did come back AU58.
  • Yes, I did this a while back with some modern proofs I think. It was fun, and maybe I'll bid on this one, I like Peace dollars!

Looks like a real weak strike on the obverse. I'll go with an AU58.
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

wow.....here we go again....guess the grade from the seller, yet he does say it is b.u. is that suppose to mean ms60... whatever the holder says, it looks washed out and lackluster, i would grade it au 55 maybe au58.

funny.....I was thinking a 63 but the obv/rev centers look very weak but it's probably the pics.

Can't believe anyone would run an auction for this date in 64 or up without listing the grade. My final answer if it's truely BU is a 62!image
It is an interesting (and different) way to run your auction.

    Jtryka......how did your auctions do?
