Is there a limit on how low ANACS will grade?

Last year I sold a nice, problem free, PQ 1795 Large Cent PCGS P0-01 to Braddick. I was beautiful chocolate brown, no corrosion, just a well worn coin. What would ANACS do if the coin were corroded, hole, bent, etc. How could you net grade a coin that was a solid PO-01 to start? Assume it was a cool coin like a 1796 Half Dollar, or a 1802 Half dime or a 1793 Strawberry leaf large cent.

I don't know this to be factual, but on a scale of 1-70, "1" would be the lowest they could go. I believe the grade would read as a "PO details, net PO-1 (insert problem here)". They would most likely annotate the problem (I so believe).

PO-1 equates to basal state, so i suppose you could net-grade a coin CULL, or "zero". at such an extreme though, grade become irrelevant. comparison in price to comparable dates is all you have to go on

I believe I have seen PO-00 coins, but I could be wrong.

I believe they don't net grade the coin. It's graded like: PO-01 Damaged
