Was playing around with the microscope and camera recently and liked this photo in particular. Thought it would be fun to share as an unknown. Will post the date/variety tomorrow. Rick - your not eligible! Shylock - I'll try to email you the raw file but my outlook express isn't working - any suggestions??

The original top photo is the 1887 S1. The composite consists of:

Top Left - 1873 S1 The most pronounced DDO in the IHC series.
Bottom Left - 1873 S2 DDO
Top Right - 1864 S4 No L DDO
Bottom Right - 1866 S1 TDO

If anyone has a nice 1891 DDO for sale, I would be interested!

I will guess 1873 as I don't know too many double die indians.

Nice tries so far - will post the answer tonight with a comparison to several other IHC DDO's (after my daughters musical - it will be late PST!)

Congrats to Goose3 and Boiler78, both of whom nailed it. There is a new picture posted with the original post showing 5 of the major IHC DDO's all together, contrasting it with the 1887 S1, the original post.
