Texas Numismatic Association holds an annual show. Some of the other grading services attend, and we have about 200 tables. It's not as big as FUN or the Long Beach shows, but not too bad overall.
I don't know about 2004, but here is the text of an email I recently received:

The TNA show is growing. There needs to be a major coin show "between the coasts." Great time for PCGS to make it's move, and make a major appearance at TNA!
Keithdagen and Spooly will host the reception. I'll bring the Doritos.
PTVETTER, By that logic the event should be in the mountains of West Virginia every year. We can kill our own varments and save even more money on food.

Hey I was born in West Virginia, nice to see someone mention my home state. Sorry Bill did'nt mean to go off topic I just get excited to ses someone post from there.
Friends are Gods way of apologizing for your relatives.
Hey! I didn't get an invitation to the New York PCGS registry reception!
Oh, I don't have any registry sets!! Well then......I could always get a job at the hotel passing out the shrimp and other goodies while the big shots oohs and ahhs at my buddy's Canadian stuff?
I hope this possible NYC MTA strike doesn't foul things up????
Maybe more leftovershrimp and mini lobster tails for me?
Instead I will be working the NFL Experience for the Super Bowl
Hey, thats going to be just a few miles from where I live! I guess I'll have to make it a point to get down there. Carol, what will you be doing at the NFL Experience?
We will have a booth set up for our sports card division PSA and our In the presence division PSA/DNA will be in attendance authenticating signatures at the autograph pavilion and authenticating the footballs used in the game.

I wouldn't mind attending a show in NY at a future time.
Hotel rooms and meals are more reasonable in Pittsburgh than in the Big Apple. Therefore I would vote for it to be held in Pittsburgh.

It's a short drive from where I live too.

It should be fun.
