ok what I talking about is why there are so many photos of coins on ebay that look like big black dots. does the sell think there AG/G copper coins are going to sell better or what? I know a picture is worth a 1000 word. if you can see the photo maybe the seller sould be happy with just a description.

Because many people (like myself) will not even look at an auction that does not have a photo.

I'm like the originator of this post...get it right or don't bother. If you can't see anything other than a black circle when you edit the photo, that's likely what anyone else who looks at it would see. No point wasting their time and bandwidth to load a useless image. It's not "that" hard to get a palatable shot of any coin. It may not be the best in the world, but at least show what little detail it has.

I agree with you, but some people have no ide what it is going to look like till it is already posted. Also some coins will not scan fer chit, and not all ebay sellers have digital/stereo scope set ups or even a digital camera with close up lenses. Some times it aint easy being an average, poor azzole ebay seller.
