    I suppose that 2002 will be one of the most readily available in the series now that the Mint is selling rolls and mini-bags direct to the public.

    I've got to agree with Peter. These things are going to be easy to get. I wouldn't buy more than I need.

    Lets see, what does that make the ones in the Mint sets worth? If you think your going to get these at face value, give it up!

    No not at face value, but they have a higher mintage than the 1987's which were mint set only so I would use the value of the 87's as a guideline. I think the 87 mint set is about $9 and I see ads for rolls of 87 Kennedys at $105. So 87's are between $4 and $5 apiece and the 2002's have a higher mintage so what maybe $3 each?

    the 200 coin bags at $135 are not such a bad deal. That's 67 1/2 cents each. Still more coins than I would ever need.

    Why do they keep making Kennedy Halves if there are so many just sitting around? Didn't Coin World have an article that there were 3 years worth of production just sitting around.

    It would have been interesting if the mint held back and just made Halves for mint sets.
