Delivery Confirmation

Just wondering how many people use this when trading. I know in the United States it is only $.55 plus postage. I just used it for the first time today and am going to use it from now on and suggest it to everyone else.

I mean think about it. How do most conflicts start? Here are some that would not be an issue of you used delivery confirmation:

-I did not receive my cards!
-You did not send!
-You did not send when you were supposed to!

I mean sure there are some other problems such as cards being damaged or lost in the mail. Even then, damaged cards does not make them a bad trader as long as they weren't like that when they sent and as long as they either send replacements or send back your cards. If they get lost in the mail you still have proof that you sent them.

I would suggest that everyone start using this as it will make all trading communities a lot safer.

on that same note.. if you sell an item via ebay and do not opt for delivery confirmation.. if you have no proof you sent the card and the person paid via paypal.. paypal will reimburse the payee if you do not use delivery confirmation or other means of proof that the buyer received.. so its a very smart thing for all us ebay sellers to use

I use Priority shipping on all trades for the tracking #........

It cost me a little more for each trade but it is worth it to me.......

He must be suffering from an "over abundance" of spamsirosis. Too much will cause anyone to become disgruntled.

Hmm...thats a good idea too...but I would not do that on a trade with cards that I don't even really care about, but I will use delivery confirmation because then people can't accuse me of not sending or sending late.

I have been using it since my first trade,and will continue to.
Not only can I prove I sent it,I can also see when it arrives.
Also,the other party can track it also if you send them the #

But does it really help for a ripper to use DC when they send you an empty envelope with delivery confirmation. I have recieved 2 trades that were insured and confirmed, but there wasn`t anything inside the envelope. I got lucky on both trades tho as I had witnesses who watched me open the packages, and the sender had found the cards lieing in the floor or whatever near the area that they do their packaging in, and came thru on the trades anyway. Just my 2 cents, NBT

Of course it can't protect against everything, and I guess in that case it could help the ripper, but it is a cheap way to protect against many bad scenarios. For example, at SCS we have a court forum where everyone can post about their trading problems and each person gets to tell their side of the story and others tell if they have had a bad experience with this person. We try our best to help and investigate, but a lot of the cases in there would not be there if the person had used delivery confirmation.
