To me the strike looks better on No. 2, and the cameo looks better on No. 1, but the cameo doesn't look bad on No 2., so I guessing No. 2. Yea, that's it my final answer. Oh, wait, can I ask the audiance, No, Its Number 2 is higher priced--My final answer!
I have a 50-50 chance!

I'm gonna say #2 has the higher market value. BUT, given the fact that this is probably a trick question... I'm gonna qualify that choice by saying that the market value is being based on the grade on the slab, not the coin.
Coin #3 (that walker?) Could we really see, it is annoying when it is so small!
Seriously, coin #1 is more complete cameo contrast.
After alll just look at coin #2. The shield has no crusty cameo caking on it at all....... and........geez...is that Kennedy blowing his nose on the obverse?
Knowing Russ' photographic skills, I'm just guessing that #1 is a CAM, and #2 is a DCAM. I have no other notions regarding it except that the mirrors seem deeper to me on #2, although #1 (appears) to be frostier.
Based on the pics, coin #1 is the winner by a mile. Lots of frost on the reverse, and coin #2 has a ding in the sideburn, and in the left edge of the shield of the reverse, but there is a frost break in the wing of #1 that would prevent it getting the dcam designation. IMO
Edited to add - I bet it got the designation anyway. My guess, $1 is the $200 coin.

The error with this thread is that it is based on the premis that one of these coins is worth a specific price just because of the grade on the holder, unless you are talking about a blue sheet (sight unseen) price at which a dealer can dump a coin on an other dealer.

Right or wrong there are standards and precedents (sales figures) that back up the market values stated by Russ in the title of this thread. PCGS has enough respect that many, many, people will pay the market price based solely on their opinion. (grade). Joe

I've noticed that you're always angling for a free coin.

Both coins are mark-free. Just some dots and relections from the plastic.

Coin #1 is a 68DCAM.
Coin #2 is a 68CAM.
Pretty fine line drawn in plastic.

I just want to know how Russ was able to hack into this site and make that post under my name! Is nothing sacred?
This was a good thread, it is a fine line indeed!
