bondman22 toned Morgan UPDATE: PAYPAL , SQUAREDEAL AND NEG FEEDBACK

If you saw my thread on Thursday of last week you would have seen that I bought the Morgan below from bondman22. His attitude and hidden fees for using paypal really irritated me.
here is his original auction look at the pics of the coin in the auction and look at the scans I took without altering the colors
I have to admit that the coin is attractive and my scan does not do the colors justice however they are in no way as bright as his magic scanner produces.
I was going to neg him on feedback but might lower it to a neutral with a explaination that he highly alters colors in his scans.
what do you think? (I really want to hear what agentjim thinks)
updated:
I left a report with Sqaredeal, paypal and left a neg on his ebay account. I am curious to hear what he has to say and if he will be made to refund the extra I had to pay him for his paypal fees.
I am keeping the coin and do like it but probably would have bidded a little lower if he would have posted non AT scanner colored coin.

I'd neg him: SCAM! SELLER MANIPULATES COLORS. CHARGES HIDDEN FEES. AVOID THIS SCUMBAG.
gm....
do you mind if I use some of your words in his neg?

No- scumbag might be a little too much for eBay to allow... avoid at all costs...

In God We Trust.... all others pay in Gold and Silver!
You like the coin and are going to keep it but you left the seller a negative?
You must be hard to deal with.
I see you and your buyers neg each other over $15 lots of "unsearched" wheat pennies.
Bondmans feedback say his buyers love him & his coins.
Just thought I'd post that. No reason.

If you haven't already, try tilting the coin and prop it up with something like a pencil or pennies. Because I get the feeling it might be close to the auction pic. Or, it's the type of coin you need to tilt just right to get the full color. But if your not used to toned coins (which I have no idea if you are or not), You need to learn all these things.
Too much is put on if a image is pretty or not. But if a person is experienced enough they can make a better judgement on images.
Just my 4 cents.

give me a break on this. I bought 150 pounds of wheats from a local coin shop that I am sure did not search these wheats ( I watched them buy them and throw them in a bucket) and I put a full set of wheats of my own into the bucket (including a 09 svdb, check my feedback for the person who found it) and sold them off. I sold them for awhile and decided it was not what I wanted to do and stopped selling them. we all make mistakes right? you ever made one?

he also has negatives in his feedback, did you mention that?

<< <i>I remember part of the thread when this coin was bought. But I'm not sure about the hidden ebay fees >>
look at the link at the top of this page and read the description about his RETURN policy. It does not state anything about a SELLING policy of the seller paying his paypal fees.
I talked to the seller on the phone and said that is was not right for me to have to pay his paypal fees but he did not offer to waive them he said I had to pay them.
I tried to alter the scan to show the real colors but I do not have photoshop at the house, it is at the office. the coin has some nice colors but just not as bright as his pictures.
The real problem with the whole transaction was the principle of charging me extra to cover his paypal fees. I never said I did not like the coin.
again if you are reading this whole thread please remember that people makes mistakes (wheat auction thing), give me a break on that.
Because no one reads positives. Would you search thru the postitves reading them? I wouldn't. However, I search out the negatives and read them.
Thanks.... um... I guess...
on the coin match the holder. Just the way I do it anyway.
Enjoy the pics below you will see the coin in the holder. I also think anyone who charges these fees for shipping and (restocking) that's a good one is a ripoff. I am not a fan of Bondman and his upgrade upgrade upgrade crap so I will keep my mouth shut.

<< <i> I always try to show the coin in the holder as we all know the colors of PCGS being blue >>
I was hoping someone would notice that the slab color is unchanged in the example I posted...
But yes it seems like you are more unhappy with the seller rather than the coin. But I don't think it's right to knock the coin if you like it.
I have watched your auctions and have considered bidding on them...........might pick one up soon they are nice.
I haven't knocked the coin just the seller.
No, but then again I live on Perfection Road, last house on the left.
>>>>>he also has negatives in his feedback, did you mention that?>>>>>>>
I will now. He has 5 negs.
Bondman had it coming. He's also notorous for outragous restocking fees, bad scans, and undergraded coins.
I was just trippin because you & several of your buyers negged each other over $15 lots of unsearched wheat pennies.
I actually bid on a Bondman auction the other night (was outbid) but I knew about what the coin (NGC Morgan) would really look like and thanks to your last thread about him & his fees I was going to pay by CHECK.
the coin does look ok for me to keep. I just have a real problem with the seller and his practices as I am sure you feel the same.
He is begging me by email to remove the neg but I will not.
If he gives me a neg so what big deal life goes on.
