Has anyone ever seen a 1958P Franklin in a PCGS OR NGC holder,
with the type 2 (high-relief eagle) in MS 65 or better, w/FBL?
I have been looking for 30 years, and to no avail! I own one
in a PCGS holder in grade 65 w/o FBL, and that is the only one
of those I've ever seen. This is why I am always politicing
the grading services for type 1,2,and 3 reverse varieties on their
holders, because the pop. reports are very misleading.

What is really interesting about the 1958 pop reports is that
while there are about 250 in '65 and around the same # in '66 FBL,
the truth is just about ALL the '66's are mint-set toned type 1.
1958P type 2's did not appear in mint sets, are all brilliant,
baggy and poorly struck! A real nugget if you can find one!
