Someone has offered me a rather large group of PCGS PF 69 DCAM $5 and $10 modern commem gold coins. What are typical wholesale buy and sell spreads on these? They appear common as dirt on the pops. Doesn't look like these types of coins sell above bid. Any help?

The average gold $5 is about $150 each.
Late 80's about $85 each
Early 90's about $110 with the rest around $150-$200 with the 87 Robinson the highest at $270.
On the $10's the P&D are $225 - W&S $150 - 2000 Library $425

PCGS gold commems are worth what someone is willing to pay for a particular issue in a particular
grade at a given time , within a given venue.
It is important to understand that catalog prices/ Ebay prices/ fixed pricelists/ and purchases at shows,
are all different functions of what PCGS gold commems are worth.
If you think that all modern gold commems are 69s, think again! Strength of strike are important
factors in BUs and depth of contrast in DCAMS is also critical.
The critical question you should ask yourself is why are you buying them? For re-sale?, investment?
or as a collector?
Good luck.
I should have included more detail. Yes, these would be for immediate resale as I consider this stuff truly speculative or just gold bullion if cheap enough. There are so many different pricing sources and 60-98% of the proof mintages are all PCGS 69 DCAMs. There must be a general pricing dealers use when buying quantities of this stuff. I'm sure none of them look at each piece for its merits until maybe after the sale. I doubt very much if other dealers would pay over bid for this material and most would be looking for a % back of bid. That was my basic question. How far back of bid do you have to buy this material in bulk (assuming its not just bullion) to have a chance of making a profit? 2%, 4%, 6% or.....?
