Wow they are pretty ... pretty ulgy . i dont like that people have this thing about coloring all coins now . the next thing will be for the 1933 st gaud to be colorized. . ALL COLORED COINS MUST BE DESTROYED.

Those may be ugly but some the designs are actually improved with color.

OOOO! You think these colorized babies are ugly? How can that be? The guy on "Shop at Home" told us they are great investments.

Seriously I can't get over the stupidity of the people who buy this junk and the gold plated state quarters at inflated prices. If you really enjoy owning this stuff, fair enough. But be forewarned that every dollar you pay over face value for these mutilated coins is a dollar down the poop shoot.

The best advise is "Don't buy 'em." If you have to buy them, "Don't buy in quantity."

If I were into enameling coins, it might be interesting to color a few state quarters. They're by no means rare, so even if I screwed up badly I could get my money out of them! The designs are quite bland, but they're still good for practicing.

Maybe if they colorize SBAs and Sacagecrappas, they'd be more tolerable

i think they're kinda cool. if they were cheaper, maybe $20 i would probably get them.

Anaconda, I thinkyou're on to something but I'd recommend getting your house slabbed by PCGS prior to selling just to ensure you get top dollar.
