ANACS pop report info for VAM44 -- help needed

Can anyone share the ANACS pop report data for the Morgan 1878 VAM44? I have the NGC data, but was curious about ANACS. Any help would be appreciated.

    Doug,

I thought I might be able to provide some help, but unfortunately, I don't have a current population analysis from Mike Fey. Here's what I have:

ANACS has graded 23 1878 Vam 44 as of Jan 2001, 8 MS and 15 circ.

Kinda' glad you asked though. I need to check and see if there is a more current analysis of the Top 100. I think this is about the only place you may be able to get a break down of pops by Vam number. If I find out anything more, I'll PM you.

BTW, what numbers did you get re: NGC? Just want to see how much change since Jan 2001.

That sounds great Gilbert. I appreciate the help. Here is the NGC info I picked up:

Total VAM 44's certified at NGC -- 9

    1. MS61PL - 1
    2. AU58 - 1
    3. AU53 - 1
    4. AU50 - 1
    5. EF45 - 1
    6. Van Allen Specimen - EF40
    7,8. Fey Specimens - EF45 and AU55
    9. Binion Specimen - EF45 (I saw this one sell on Teletrade for $3,500)

If you pick up any more current ANACS info, please post.

    I have ANACS graded 44's in MS60 and AU58.
