Thank you for the link. I will look through this box and see what is in there. Apparently the guy I bought them from had a thing for 1991 sets. They are all beautiful sets, in very nice leather - look cases and then they have a nice seperate hard plastic case, much like a vcr case. The coins are drop dead gorgeous.

My price guide lists $70 Canadian for the 1991 Prestige Proof Set. That's Canadian funds so figure about $44 US. These are retail prices.

If the buyer got them at original issue price, he picked one of the very few Canadian sets to actually appreciate in value. Most others dropped in the toilet.
