is this something that is done? has anyone else done this or am i
wasting my time? will psa adjust their population reports if some one
tells them that they cracked out a psa graded card?

with all the cracking that seems to go on, what good are the
pop reports without these adjustments?

I think it is good to send them back to SGC to get them to update their reports. Its the only way to keep them as accurate as possible. I personally take the time to do it

  • I take the pop reports with a grain of salt realizing that many cards are re-submitted or cracked out of one company's holder and sent it to the other. I, for one, would like to thank you or anyone else for taking the time to notify whichever company to allow them to adjust their population report.

Whether or not the company updates their pop report or not is another matter, but for your part you will have done the right thing and I appreciate it.

    coachvinny...

Do the right thing...Even if it's a small gesture.

Crack all you want, but DO send he flips back to the issuing company.

    It helps all of us!

Previous reports suggest that population reports are not always updated when the flips are returned...
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

The only "accurate" pop reports are for the issues in which only 1 card has been graded. After the total pop. goes over 1 for a particular card, it's anybody's guess.
