The 1938 - 1964 Jefferson Nickel Circ. Strike basic set calls for 71 coins to complete. The 1938 - 1964 Jefferson Nickel Circ. Strike with Varieties calls for 73 coins to complete. There are "six" extra coins listed in the Varieties Set. Shouldn't it take 77 coins to complete this set? Please set me straight if I am missing something.

As many times this has been up and down the court, the basic set has 74 since the inclusion of the
1939PDS Type ones. And this raises the varieties set to 80. Makes me wonder, if I have missed it, will 71 or 74 divide the equation for the basic set? If it's the latter, are the standings correct?

The more qualities observed in a coin, the more desirable that coin becomes!

The last time I checked only the Type 1 1939s are included in the basic and variety sets for a total of 71 & 77 coins respectively.
