Well is everyone ready for the bidding tonight? I cant decide on whether to get the 1971 Greatest Moments or some of those 1967's. I wish I had 1967 in bulk I would of tried that set. Its a nice looking set.

Had a PSA 9 football card I was watching. SMR is $ 150.00.
If I bid now, my minimum would have to be $ 265.00.
Oh well, I have an 8 of the same card that is just as good, if not better.
"How about a little fire Scarecrow ?"
Good luck to everyone bidding tonight.

Classic Post!

Next time, maybe.

Did anyone else notice last night that they didn't have to give their password when they bid over the phone? Just seemed a little strange to me.
I won lot #'s 749 + 754.
I'd love to know if any one else won any lots. Schmidty, did you win any of the Phillies from 1967.
I was tempted on bidding on the Tony Taylor. I figured for Sky that it was for a good cause.
But I decided to save the money for the Ft. Washington show this weekend. I did bid on the Phillies
checklist from 67 but did not win. Also, strong prices for the Psa 8 red man Snider and Rizzuto.

Here is a question, do we tend to bid higher on a Superior Auction than we would normally pay at a show or on eBay? I think I do. For some reason I get more determined on these auctions than anything else.

Gotta, run....I have go sell my platlets, collect aluminum cans, and wash windshields at the streetcorner so that I pay for all of this.
Won the 1975 starter set and 4 1952 PSA 7's. Pretty happy lost some good ones but you cant win them all.

Thanks for bidding on the 1971 Topps Greatest Moments. I paid about triple what I needed to on those. Actually, I know you did not win the 1971 Topps Greatest Moments Brooks Robinson PSA 8, however if you are interested in making the set I have an extra one.

Didn't bid on anything, though.

I have a number of psa 8 GM's and a few very sought after 7's (ie, Killebrew)
let me know if you have rethunk the SMR vs. reality issue.
