Anyone familiar with S&G Rare Coins Grading?

    It's either directly or indirectly related to Accugrade. This holder even has the ACG logo on the lower right.

  • It was discussed here a couple of weeks ago. ACG has a new "product". For a fee you can send them coins and the will encapsulate them for you with your own labels, designations, grades etc. ACG just provides the shells and the sealing. They don't examine the coins so the fee is lower than submitting the coins to ACG for grading. The S&G Rare Coins slabs are examples of that.

    And just when you thought that nothing could possibly be worse than an ACG graded coin..............now they have ACG dealers grading their own coins and selling them! image
