Looking for a book on Flying eagle's

jdimmickjdimmick Posts: 9,718 ✭✭✭✭✭
I need help from the forum,

I am looking for a book on Flying Eagle cents, similar to the complete guide series, if there is such a thing.

I am not so much intrested in die varieties, but more a date by date anyalsis, and general info.(Like the complete guide to " " series)

Please let me know if such a book exsists, and is only an older publication, and better yet, where I can purchase one?

thanks

Rick Snow's The Flying Eagle and Indian Cent Attribution Guide", 2nd Edition Vol. 1, 1856-1858

The book is heavy on varieties, but I don't think you will mind when you see the wealth of information. It also covers Flying Eagle and Indian cent Patterns to 1858. I doubt if there is a better guide to those wonderful Flyers anywhere. Information, including how to purchase, is available at:

I ditto Goose3 and Pushkin. I don't even collect Indian Head cents or Flying Eagle cents, but I found the book truly interesting. Plus, if you buy it at a show directly from Rick, he'll autograph it for you!

Ditto the above and would add Bowers book on FE/IHC's - they are complementary.

(Baccaruda, 12/03).I find it hard to believe that he (Trump) rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world. Ditto Lakesammman - the Bowers book is a little difficult to locate, but I think you can order a copy at the Bowers and Merena website,

Bowers website or give them a call 1-800-458-4646 to find out if it is still available. I had some (a lot of) difficulty getting a copy.

    Good luck! image
