Cherrypickers

How many of you are cherrpickers? I am very new to coin collecting and I just spend hours sitting with my coin albumns and opening rolls of coins. I am very impressed by my albums, and look forward to moving on to higher grade albums.

What tools do you use? I have my

red book
loupe
mylar holders
albums ( my first dansco is on its way)

anything I am missing?

Oh yeah. I want to fill up a Ike dollar album, and need to find ike dollars. Do the banks still have these available?

And Half Dollars.

I'm trying to become one! I need to learn more. I have the Top 100 VAM varieties for Morgans and a 16x loupe. When the next cherrypickers book comes out next quarter, I'll snap it up. It's a lot of fun. And it's great to get you to look back over stuff you've already got.

As for the Ikes, I don't think banks will still have these. But if your interested, I think I can get my hands on a bank bag of Ikes that are circulated, unpicked for about $1.65 a coin. I think there's about 1000 ikes in the bag.

Let me know if you're interested.
