Lastly, between the arrows are the letters (upside down) D O L It is easier to see than scan any ideas???Thanks you have all welcomed me nicely. Staceychange

Your first nickels is a nice struck-through error - not sure what it was struck through, but they typically sell for nice money. If it's a struck through cloth, I know a hefty Jefferson nickel error collector who might like to buy it.

Your second coin is off-center, looks like about 10%. That should bring a decent premium!

Your third coin has a CUD error, a piece of the die broke off leaving the coins it struck un-struck where the piece of the die was missing. Also a nice premium value, maybe up to $10.

I don't see anything on the Lincoln cent so I would have to pass.

  • I don't think the strike through is through cloth. Usually on a cloth strikethrough you can see the weave of the textile. I think it is struck through a late stage capped die.

I would come closer to agreeing with you than standing by this being struck through cloth. I'm no expert with errors, I don't claim to be. I did use the caveat "if" when mentioning struck through cloth...and have seen an example where it didn't show the weave of the textile well enough to capture in a scan, but this one does look more like a struck through capped die anyway...still a premium value coin nonetheless.
