1872 seated Half...........my pics :(

I had metioned in earlier post that I had an 1872 seated half grades proof66 cameo by NGC
when listed on heritage they show pop of 0/0. When here are my picsimage I think I am either
going to have to get a good macro taking camera or get a scanner. The colors are better and the
contrast is better with the mirrows real nice. oh well

  • Baldy,

The obverse really isn't that bad. The detail is actually quite good.

Macro capability in a camera is a good thing, but tripods and great lighting are even better. I don't have a macro-capable camera, but I do take my coin shots at high resolution from a tripod with two Reveal bulbs at 10 and 2 o'clock. Since the picture is at high resolution ("fine" on my camera), I can cut out the coin part of the picture and it is big enough.

Nice coin! I bet that obverse is a nice turquoise?

I can't find any pr67 cameo listed on the ngc site for that year.
Here is a link to them Link

Maybe there is a error on the label unless it was just made.
    I would contact ngc.
I do think Heritage offers returns if a coin is found to be obviously not graded correct.
