Kinda' looks like mahogany. It's a beaut. I somewhat glossed through the description and didn't notice any mention of the wood type, unless it is fairly obvious or well known by the manufacturer Many people collect by wood-type; why do you suppose there is no mention (or did I just overlook it?)
I don't collect them and have no idea of wood type. I do know italy is know for their wood work as well as glass. I'm buying for song type I'm having it upgraded to a 36 note movment (doubles the price) and a peticular song which I won't mention or you guys will really think I'm a wimp.
