Home Buy, Sell & Trade - Cards & Memorabilia

Just picked this up............Anyone interested in a game-used St. Louis Blues puck?

Puck looks pretty old. Has on back commissioner's name (Bettman). If so, PLMK your cash offer.

I MAY consider trading it, but would have to be pretty good offers.

  • I've got game used pucks from colleges, ECHL, and NFL and nobody wants em.
  • Scan, proof?...
  • Game pucks should become more rare now since they have to put up the stupid nets.
  • I guess it's made by Gias Co.?

Think about it. If I have nothing to do with hockey, why would I make up something like picking up a puck? If I can get a scan of it, would you be interested in buying it? If you had to guess, how much would you offer?

  • I think the question is, how do you know its a "Game Used" Puck? Do you have anything to indicate that it is?
  • oh, I understand. other than the marks on it and it saying "official game puck", I don't know what else you'd need to know.

Dude, you can buy a puck that says "Official Game Puck" for $4.99 at Wal-Mart, and if you'd like, I'll take it out back and shoot around, and get you some nice marks on it image.
  • lol

Like I said, don't know much about it, so don't know how you'd be able to tell.

  • I have a puck that was caught in a playoff game from Montreal in 1986. I was at the game and it was freaking the greatest thrill, especially since Montreal won the cup that year. As for proof when it comes time to sell it, the age of the puck as well as the design should show that it's a 80's vintage puck. It is very difficult to prove a puck is game used because anybody can make a game used puck, just shoot it around and there you go. My game used puck will stay in my collection because there is no need for proof because my brother caught it and that's all I need to know. It probably wouldn't sell well but who cares, nothing like getting game used memorabilia at a game...instead of buying it chopped up in a card.
